Optimist Club Planning Fall Cleanup Event

Club members will help area seniors with their annual yard work tasks on Nov. 5.

The Optimist Club of Menomonee Falls is sponsoring a fall cleanup event to help Falls senior citizens with their annual yardwork tasks. 

Optimist Club members and area youth groups will team up to help seniors with their yard Saturday, Nov. 5.  Any interested senior citizen should call the at 255-8460 for more details.  All donations (not required) for the work will be given to the participating youth organizations.

The motto of the Optimist Club is “Friend of Youth” and “Bringing out the Best in Kids”.  Many community events are sponsored by the Optimist club such as the Independence Day Parade, Kids' Fishing Derby, Adopt A Highway, Leaf Raking for Senior Citizens, and many more.
