Any explanation as to why the fireworks were 45 minutes late?

I am not sure, I was there last night and was surprised too. I could find out somehow from organizers today.

My understanding is that the softball game played prior to the fireworks went long, that is why they were late.

I hate waking up after falls fest and still having unused tickets. $15 worth this year.... ah well the Radisson needs payroll.
Carl Engelking July 30, 2012 at 04:48 PM
I agree, I didn't have $15, but still, $2 worth for me. I wish there was a way to compile how many leftover tickets are still in the pockets of Falls Fest visitors today. I think it would be cool for businesses to offer a deal for your leftover tickets.

I was thinking that last night. Since all the vendors have to turn in the tickets to receive payment it should be easy to compute. Total revenue at ticket booths - paid to vendors = un used tickets. I tried to use mine at Kruegers sat night, no go ;P

I used to take all of my unused tickets and buy a bunch of gatorades to take home for the kids

When was the last time you had tickets left near a beer tent?

I found leftover tickets from Sat night..I used them for ice cream on Sun! Theres always an odd number left....I agree vendors should offer some incentive with the tickets. Gives customers a reason to come in the door.
