Wrestlers Seek Team State Title Friday

The team state tournament will begin at 7 p.m. Friday from Madison.

The Menomonee Falls Indians will beging their quest for a team state title on Friday in Madison. 

The Indians will face Bay Port in the third match of the quarterfinals at 7 p.m. Friday at the University of Wisconsin Fieldhouse. Tickets are available at the gate, or at the high school until 3:30 p.m. Friday. A bus will also be transporting students down to the tournament. If you can't make it to the Capitol, you can watch a live stream of the tournament online.

If Falls wins Friday, they will wrestle 9 a.m. in the semifinals, and at 6 p.m. in the finals Saturday.

The Indians qualified for the team tournament earlier in February with a narrow 30-25 victory over Wauwatosa, which came down to the the final match of the meet. Wrestlers, Aaron Daly and Ayoola Olapo, both placed second in the individual tournament.
