Malone Ties School Record for Three-Pointers

C.J. Malone has hit 85 career three-point shots for the Indians, which ties a record held for just over a decade.

On Thursday, C.J. Malone, a senior on the Menomonee Falls Indians boys basketball team, tied the school record for most career three-pointers.

According to the Indians boys basketball website, Malone tied the record of 85 set by Jeff Bennett, who played from 1998 to 2000. Malone tied the record during a game against Beloit Memorial.

Malone shot 22 threes in his sophomore year, 50 in his junior year, and has 13 on the current season. The Indians defeated Beloit Memorial 71-49 that night, and Malone hit one three-pointer during the game.

Malone will look to set a new record tonight as the Indians (3-4, 1-3 Greater Metro) travel to Plymouth (7-1, 4-0 Eastern) in a nonconference matchup.
