Indians Sweep Spartans, Remain Perfect in Conference Play

Indians captured sole possession of first place in the Greater Metro Conference with a convincing when over Brookfield East Tuesday.

The Menomonee Falls Indians showed they have what it takes to become the elite team in the Greater Metro Conference Tuesday night.

The Indians and Brookfield East Spartans went into Tuesday's matchup with perfect conference records. After sweeping the Spartans in three straight games, the Indians now sit alone atop their conference.

The Indians waltzed to victory, 25-8, 25-14, 25-18. Even when the third match was close, the Indians appeared relaxed and kept smiling on the court and the bench.

The Indians will have plenty momentum as they gear up for the last leg of the season, and are poised for a deep run in the postseason. The girls will look to continue their dominance in conference play Oct. 1 when they travel to West Allis Hale.
