Gymnastics Coach, Tracy Howard, To Retire

Howard, who coached the team for 24 years, retired from the team after a victory over Brookfield.

After more than two decades Menomonee Falls gymnastics coach Tracy Howard guided young athletes in her final home meet Wednesday.

Howard coached the team to victory as Falls defeated Brookfield 135.35 to 114.25. Aerial Holt, Katrina Morrison, Lizzy Gilbert, and Paige Lemly took first place in their respective events.

Howard was then honored at the meet in front of the home crowd, as she will retire after 24 years as the head coach at season's end. Howard was highly successful as the coach. During her tenure from 1989-2013 accomplishments include:

  • 1991 Regional Champions (placed 6th in state)
  • 2007 Sectional champions (placed 5th in state)
  • 3 conference titles
  • 3 state individual champions
  • 18 individuals went to state on 52 events

Howard will coach the team as it heads to the postseason.Β
