Falls Wrestlers Seek Perfection, Conference Title

The Indians will host undefeated West Allis Hale Thursday. A win in the final dual match of the season would clinch a perfect season and Greater Metro Conference title for the team.

The Menomonee Falls Indians wrestling team have been slamming their opponents’ shoulders to the mats all year. Now, the team is on the verge of ending the season in historic fashion.

The Indians will battle for the Greater Metro Conference title when they host undefeated West Allis Hale at 7 p.m. Thursday at Menomonee Falls High School. A win on Thursday would also cap an undefeated season for the successful team. 

In order for a wrestling team to be successful, there need to be a handful of individuals that perform at a high level. According to WIWrestling.com, the latest Falls wrestlers all over the state rankings.

Here are Falls wrestlers that make are tops in their Division 1 weight class:

  • 106 pounds: Aaron Daly, sophomore, #8
  • 113 pounds: Jerrot Holz, freshman, #10
  • 120 pounds: Billy Holz, sophomore, #8
  • 182 pounds: Ayoola Olapo, senior, #4
