The village needs volunteers to work the polls for the Nov. 6 election. There are also a number of important dates to note in order to save time and avoid inconveniences on election night.

The presidential election is just over a month away, but there are upcoming important dates to mark on your calendar – especially if you want to save time and avoid lines on Election Day.

Volunteers are also needed on Nov. 6.

The village is currently seeking roughly 15 volunteers to operate the polling places on election night. The typical shift of a poll worker is from 6:30 a.m. to about 10 p.m. Working the polls makes for a long day, but it’s also a great way to serve the community. To volunteer, call the Village Clerk’s Office at 532-4212.
