Police were called to Falls Baptist Church on Sunday after a person reported a sexual assault had occurred. When police arrived, they found Mucha sitting on a bench in the pastor’s office. Mucha told police he heard voices in his head that told him to “ask a little girl to take her clothes off.” He said he’s been hearing voices in his head that tell him to do things since high school.

The girl’s mother told police she gave her daughter a pillow to return to the day care room, but grew concerned when she was taking too long. When she entered the room she noticed the lights had been turned off. When she turned the lights on, she found Mucha lying in the middle of the room with her daughter, who had her dress pulled down and underwear off. The girl was also crying.

At that moment, the mother screamed and Mucha ran out of the church. However, witnesses caught up with Mucha near Appleton Avenue and Ruby Avenue and brought him back into the church to contact police.

Mucha later told police, “I raped her,” according to the complaint.

Mucha said he had entered the day care room and noticed the girl was by herself. He told police he “did tell the girl some things,” but would not say what he told her. Mucha said he also knew why the girl was crying, but wouldn’t tell the detective.

The little girl told police Mucha entered the room and “picked her up like a teddy bear,” and she started to cry. She said Mucha turned off the lights, sat her down, and began taking her clothes off.

Mucha was arrested and taken to the Menomonee Falls Police Department. He's currently being held in jail on $5,000 bail.
