Teen Approached By Stranger Near School Bus Stop

The police and school district are asking parents and students to be aware of their surroundings.

The School District of Menomonee Falls and the Menomonee Falls Police Department are reminding parents and children to be aware of their surroundings and safety after a man approached a student near a bus stop this week.

Between 7:15 and 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, at W180N8201 in the area of Tours Drive and Destiny Drive, a white male described as being in his late 40s or early 50s approached a 17-year-old female as she was walking to her school bus pickup. The man asked the student to get into his vehicle for a ride. The girl declined and waited for her bus.

The man is described to have grey hair, a mustache, wear glasses and have an average build.

His vehicle is a newer silver or grey SUV similar to an Envoy.

Before approaching, the man slowly drove behind the girl for about one minute before making contact.

The School District and Police Department continue to work together to share information on the case.
