Police Help Kids Spread Holiday Cheer
The Menomonee Falls Police Department partnered with Target Tuesday to host the "Shop with a Cop" event.
Members of the helped local children get a few items checked off their holiday wishlists Tuesday during the "Shop with a Cop" event at Target, N95W17707 Shady Ln.
MFPD received a $1,500 grant from Target Corporation to hold the event. Children were paired up with an MFPD officer to help the find the perfect gifts.
The department worked with the Menomonee Falls School District to choose 20 children who participated in the event. Every police officer volunteered their time Tuesday to help children tackle their Christmas shopping lists.Â

It was the second year that the department participated in this program, and Target added some addtional funds so children could wrap their presents before taking them home.
