Police Beat: The Scales of Justice Turn on a Falls Woman, and a Fight at the Food Pantry

Incidents from the Menomonee Falls police reports.

A 41-year-old Menomonee Falls woman went to the to report trouble with her boyfriend. Instead, she ended up getting herself into trouble with the law.

The woman told police her 51-year-old boyfriend was bullying her and claimed the two got into a fight the night prior to contacting police. The man and the woman live in separate apartments within the building on the W16000 block of Main Street.

Police couldn’t substantiate either of the incidents reported by the woman, and couldn’t determine anything criminal had occurred. However, they could substantiate a different story from the woman.

During the investigation, she voluntarily told police she had a personal marijuana growing operation in her apartment. A search revealed that she was indeed operating a small grow, and was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Police cited her for both.

  • At 3:23 p.m. Saturday, officers caught a 44-year-old Milwaukee man stealing coiled wire from along the railroad tracks on the 5800 block of Lilly Road. The man was arrested and cited for theft, trespassing and possession of marijuana.
  • A verbal argument turned to fisticuffs at 11:31 a.m. Oct. 25 at the Menomonee Falls Area Food Pantry. The argument began after one suspect skipped a husband and wife in line at the facility. The suspect started throwing punches at both, and struck the 55-year-old woman in the left ear. The suspect was booked and cited for battery.
  • Two employees of , N85W16035 Appleton Ave., were cited for not having a proper liquor license at 2:13 p.m. Thursday. The only person who was properly licensed was running errands while the two other employees stayed back and watched the store.
  • A backpack with fishing gear was reported missing at 10:44 a.m. Saturday. A person found the bag in and reported it to police. The bag was placed in inventory at the department.
  • At 11:05 p.m. Wednesday, officers found a person listed as missing with the Milwaukee Police Department on the W19000 block of Mason Court. Officers found the 87-year-old Milwaukee woman sitting in her car after responding to a suspicious vehicle report on that street.
  • Between 7:15 p.m. and 7:25 p.m. Wednesday, a 32-year-old Menomonee Falls walked into , W220N6410 Town Line Rd., and discovered that his car window had been broken and his GPS unit was missing.
  • At 2:47 a.m. Friday, two suspicious persons were reported at the , N88W15167 Main St. Officers arrived, and arrested a 28-year-old Beaver Dam man who was intoxicated and in violation of his probation.
