Pair of Home Burglaries in Falls Closes 2012

Police are reminding residents to secure their homes after a pair of home burglaries occurred Sunday and Monday.

The Menomonee Falls Police Department is reminding residents to secure their homes and report suspicious activity in the wake of two home robberies that occurred earlier this week.

On Sunday evening, suspects entered a home in the N15700 block of Countryside Drive through an unlocked garage service door. The suspects stole a laptop from the home, and attempted to open doors to several other homes along Countryside Drive and Colony Road.

On Monday evening, suspects climbed through an unlocked condominium bedroom window on the N5500 block of Ridgewood Drive. The suspect or suspects stole jewelry, cash, and gift cards.

The MFPD has not identified the persons involved with the burglaries, but they are urging other residents to immediately report any suspicious activity and secure all doors and windows in their homes.

If you have any information or would like to report suspicious activity please call the MFPD at (262) 532-8700.
