Man Accused of Spitting On Officer Brushes With Police Again

A 59-year-old man who was charged with a felony for allegedly spitting on a Menomonee Falls police officer last week was once again in the reports this week.

Police responded to a disorderly person call at Village Park on Garfield Drive across from North Middle School at roughly 2:10 p.m. Jan. 7. According to reports, The 59-year-old man was apparently yelling at his wife and creating a disturbance. The man blocked in multiple vehicles, and exited his vehicles to receive something from the trunk.

Witnesses interviewed said they became scared when exited his vehicle and headed for the trunk. However, the man retrieved a pair of ice skates to give to his wife.

Four days later, the same man allegedly contacted a witness involved in his open felony case with the Waukesha County Circuit Court. The man attempted to contact the witness multiple times both in person and by leaving a note at her door between Jan. 11 and Jan. 12, according to the report. 

When police arrived at the man’s home, he was also consuming alcohol. Both contacting the witness and consuming alcohol were violations of his bail. He was arrested and transported to the Waukesha County Jail. 

Last week, the man was charged with disorderly conduct after police received a noise complaint from his home, and he became argumentative outside. He also allegedly spit on an officer while he was being booked, which is a felony offense.
