Obituary: Harvey J. Schmit
Harvey served 21 years in the Air Force and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

Harvey J. Schmit was born to Eternal Life July 28, 2013 at age 69. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Chong-Cha (nee Pak). Loving father of Suzanne (Ryan) Berrend. Beloved brother of Evelyn (the late Don) Swisher, Ruth (the late Victor) Debroux, Delores (Marvin) Zietlow, Eileen (Dennis) Haeuser and Ervin (Linda) Schmit. Further survived by 4 sisters-in-law, 1 brother-in-law, other relatives, many friends and his beloved dog Beezley.
Visitation at the Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral home will be held from 4-8 p.m. Aug. 1. Prayer service will follow at 7:45PM. Entombment and Military Honors will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Arlington Park Cemetery in Greenfield (Please meet at cemetery).

Harvey served 21 years in the Air Force and was retired from the Postal Service. He was a dedicated volunteer at Community Memorial Hospital and Kathy Hospice for many years. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Kathy Hospice are greatly appreciated.
