Falls Health Care Re-dedicates Its Therapy Room

Organizers at the Menomonee Falls Health Center opened up its revamped therapy facility to the Falls community.

The goal of the is for patients to have a short stay, and regain independence to resume the life they were living.

Last week, leaders of the the health center cut the ribbon on its revamped therapy room. The cutting was meant to be a re-dedication of the therapy room to the reast of the community.Β 

The Falls Health Care has been serving Falls for over 37 years and is a 78-bed facility. Central to getting patients back home is what happens in the therapy room. Apart from exercise equipment, the therapy room features a full size kitchen and bathroom. It's set up to give patients practice and training in a realistic setting.

"Our focus is to get patients back home after a medical event," said Administrator Ray Freson. "Today's ceremony was meant to re-dedicate this room to the entire community."

Freson said they are working with various health providers in the community to partner, and provide patients the therapy and services they need.
