3 Falls Companies Among Fastest Growing in U.S.

Creating jobs and revenue has been a central theme of the 2012 presidential election. But in Menomonee Falls, three companies have been doing a pretty good job accomplishing both of those tasks over the past three years.

BizLab, , and are all Menomonee Falls-based companies that ranked among the 5,000 fastest growing companies according to Inc. magazine’s annual national report.

Each year, Inc. ranks the top 500 and 5,000 companies for growth throughout the United States. Inc. ranks according to percentage revenue growth and compares 2008 to 2011. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2008. The minimum revenue required for 2008 is $100,000; the minimum for 2011 is $2 million.

Of the 68 businesses from in Wisconsin that made the Inc. list, BizLab ranked as the eighth fastest growing. BizLab ranked 1,131 overall among the fastest growing companies in the U.S. BizLab is located at N56W13365 Silver Spring Rd.

BizLab acquires, funds, and develops internet-based companies. In three years, the company has grown by 279 percent, added 122 jobs, and increased revenue from $5.7 million to $21.5 million. BizTimes.com ranked BizLab the fastest growing company in 2010.

Wireless Logic, N96W18743 County Line Rd., ranked 2,270 overall. The company has grown 44 percent since 2008, and has added 23 jobs in that timeframe. Wireless Logic is also located in seven other communities throughout the state, and generated $7.1 million in 2011.

Graphics Systems rounded out the field of local businesses that made the Inc. rankings. Graphics Systems develops concept designs for a variety of industries. The company ranked 4,809 out of 5,000 companies for growth. In three years the company has increased revenue 12 percent and has added nine employees. The company was founded in 1990 and posted $11.1 million in revenue last year.

The top ranking company across the United States in terms of growth is Florida-based Unified Payments. The company was founded in 2003 and increased its revenue 23,646 percent in three years.
