Youth Art Month Opening Reception Tuesday

More than 2,000 pieces of student art work will be on display throughout the month of March.

If you've been to the Menomonee Falls Public Library lately, you've likely noticed that every corner of the building is decorated with student artwork.

For the past week, volunteers have been busy placing the art throughout the library in preparation for the annual Youth Art Month opening reception. The event will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday throughout the library.

The opening reception will feature hands-on art activities, face painting, an iMovie demonstration and hors d’oeuvres. However, the featured attractions are the more than 2,000 pieces of student artwork that will be on display. Several Village Board trustees are expected to attend the opening event as well.

The creative artwork will be on display until the end of March.
