Hundreds gathered on the banks of Mill Pond Saturday to wage their luck on a lucky duck.

Roughly 4,200 ducks dropped into Mill Pond Saturday, and hundreds more gathered for the Lucky Ducky Derby in Menomonee Falls. 

The ducks got off to a quick start but soon stalled near the halfway point in the calm waters of Mill Pond Park.

After the derby, guests to the party enjoyed viewing more than 20 art vendors and 60 more street vendors during the Art on the Walk and Sidewalk Market.
