Seniors: Fall Raking is a Chore No More

The Optimist Club is teaming up with local youth groups to help the elderly with the laborious chore of cleaning up the yard.

Fall is a colorful season, but raking can be a real chore - especially for the elderly.

However, the Optimist Club of Menomonee Falls is ready to help, and the club is organizing a fall clean up event with local youth groups to help local senior citizens. Organizers have scheduled the event for Nov. 3, but they are currently looking for those seniors who need some help.

If you would like some help, or know someone who could use it, please contact the Community Education & Recreation Department at (262) 255-8460 for more details and to get your name on the list. All donations – though not required – will be given to the youth groups that participate.
