Optimists Recruiting New Members

The Optimist Club is sponsoring a membership drive May 23 at Village Bowl.

The Optimist Club of Menomonee Falls is beginning its spring membership drive.  Come to the quarterly night meeting, May 23 at Village Bowl on Main Street if you are interested in joining. 

Pizza, information about the club and its mission will be available.  For more information about this upcoming membership drive, call Larry Barbera at 251-8558.

The motto of the Optimist Club is “Friend of Youth” and “Bringing out the Best in Kids”.  Many community events are sponsored by the Optimist club such as the Independence Day Parade, Fishing Derby, Adopt A Highway, Leaf Raking for Senior Citizens, and many more.

Some of the youth projects are Post Prom, Distinhuished Young Woman, Student of the Month, Tri Star Baseball, and many scholarship opportunities.

The Optimist Club of Menomonee Falls meets every Wednesday morning at 7:15 a.m. in room 102 of the Menomonee Falls Community Center, N8645 Margaret Road.
