Falls Ranks Among Top Small Towns in the U.S.A.
CNN Money released its list of top towns in America, and Falls was the only Wisconsin community to make the list.
I mean, it's a given among residents that Menomonee Falls is the best place to live in the country, but outsiders are also taking notice.
CNN Money just released its 2013 rankings of top small towns to live in, and Menomonee Falls was right up there with the rest of them. Falls notched the 28th spot out of the top 50 small towns listed in the rankings. Falls was the only community in Wisconsin to appear on CNN Money's top 50.
Falls ranked highly because it is home to several large employers, its close proximity to Milwaukee, and it's also a good place to purchase a starter home. Jobs are growing at a steady 2.14 percent, and crime has remained low.
The rankings included municipalities with populations between 10,000 and 50,000 residents. The rankings were based on a multitude of measurements segregated into financials, housing, education, quality of life, leisure and culture, weather and demographics.
Sharon, Massachusetts, with a population of just over 17,000, was the top-ranked community, according to the rankings. Being surrounded by a wealth of jobs certainly helps.
