America's Pastime Highlighted in Library Movies

Two baseball-themed movies headline this weeks lineup at the Menomonee Falls Library.

The professional baseball season is in full swing - no pun intended. And America's national pastime will be the focal point of the July movies at the Menomonee Falls Public Library this week. 

Here's a look at the free showtimes at the library. All showings are held in the library's community room:

When: 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, and 6:15 p.m. Thursday 
What: This movie documents the life story of Jackie Robinson and his monumental signing with the Brooklyn Dodgers under the guidance of team executive Branch Rickey.

Starring Chadwick Boseman, Harrison Ford and Nicole Beharie. Directed by Brian Helgeland. PG-13, 128 minutes

For Love of the Game

When: 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, and 2:15 p.m. Thursday 
What: A washed-up pitcher flashes through his career. Starring Kevin Costner, Kelly Preston and John C. Reilly.

Directed by Sam Raimi, and based on the novel by For Love of the Game by Michael Shaara. PG-13, 137 minutes.
