Thursday at 2013 Falls Fest

Menomonee Falls’ annual extravaganza of fun, Falls Fest, begins Thursday. Here is a summary of the day’s schedule:

• Hours are 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Village Park. Admission and parking are free.
• Dusk is the first band to play the main stage, followed by country group Rebel Grace at 7 p.m.
• On the Family Stage, catch Accompany of Kids at 5 p.m. and participate in karaoke at 7 p.m.
• AJ’s Live will have its own stage, featuring Scotty Meissner at 6 p.m. and Brandon Miles at 8 p.m.
• At 6:30 p.m., the police department takes on the fire department in a softball game.
• Ten food and beverage vendors provide a selection of eats. All vendors accept tickets, which are 50 cents each.
• The Family Entertainment Tent features a magician, nightly karaoke and other events.
• The games area includes miniature golf, inflatables and carnival games.
