Cable Bill Drives Man to the Brink
Police needed a stun gun to subdue the distraught, drunken man.
A Menomonee Falls resident was pushed to his limit last week while discussing his Time Warner Cable bill.
Police received a call from a TWC representative who said a man was threatening to shoot himself while discussing his bill. The cable rep left the phone line open and heard a loud crash and moaning on the phone line.
The cable rep called police to check on the man, and it to several attempts to contact him. The distraught man eventually walked onto his back patio, but refused to comply with commands from police. As a result, police used a stun gun to subdue him. He was taken to the hospital to treat his wounds from the device.
Though the man didn't have any mental health issues, he was intoxicated. He was cited for disorderly conduct.
