Tom Andrews has been involved as a print /  broadcast journalist and communications specialist since 1974.

A 1975 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, he started  in Milwaukee radio news at WZUU-AM and WOKY-AM.  In 1976 he became news director at WYNE-AM Appleton before moving to Spokane, Washington and switching to television as a news reporter/anchor (KXLY-TV, KHQ-TV).  Tom later came back to Milwaukee (1981-89) joining WISN-TV as its Family Health reporter.  

In 2000, Tom founded Andrews Media Ventures, www.andrewsmediaventures.com a communications consultancy based in Hartford, WI providing writing, video production and PR counsel to a wide variety of corporate and non-profit clients.

In 2010, Tom co-authored “For Milwaukee Braves Fans Only!” the first-ever book telling the nostalgic story of the Milwaukee Braves through the eyes of their loyal fans. 

Tom has also written for numerous print and online publications including the Green Bay Packers Yearbook, Packer Report, Packer Profiles, Sports Collectors Digest, Froedtert Today, Feeling Fine, and others.
