Big Week for the Indians Soccer Team

Go Pink! week and a couple of big wins marked the Indians' week.

The varsity soccer team started off last week on Tuesday, facing Greater Metro Conference opponent West Allis Central. They scored 9 goals and only let in one, Goalkeeper Brendan Paule played his first field minutes of the season and scored his first goal.

On Wednesday, the varsity soccer team and the varsity volleyball team played their annual "Go Pink!" volleyball match at Menomonee Falls High School. "Go Pink!" week is all about fundraising for breast cancer awareness. In the volleyball match, the boys put up a very strong effort but the girls still won all the matches. Culver's donated ice cream and served it to all who attended after the game.

For the third day in a row, the team played another game. They facied a huge non-conference rival Cedarburg, and Falls needed to play hard to win.

Going down early didn't hurt Falls' pride and determination to win. They quickly responded with two goals before half time.

Leading 2-1, Falls would not back down. While dominating possession and shots on goal, the Indians finished the game winning 5-1.

Goal scorers were Jake Brust (2), Connor Young (2), and Trevor Estock (1). Menomonee Falls' success this week was unprecedented. The playoffs begin soon and the Indians are gunning for a top seed.

Menomonee Falls plays West Allis Hale on Tuesday in the last game of the regular season. To date, Menomonee Falls is 17-4-2 in all play this season.

"Go Pink!" week was one of the most successful it has ever been in history for Falls.
