Fairs for Pet Lovers and Art Lovers on the Weekend

It's a busy weekend locally, so Patch made things a bit easier for you. We found a collection of events to fill your days with.

The Wisconsin State Fair is over, but that's not to say that fair season in general is over. In fact, in Menomonee Falls the weekend is chock-full of fairs.

Pet Fair: Starting at 9 a.m. Saturday the Menomonee Falls Pet Fair will take over Rotary Park off of Fond Du Lac Avenue. All pets, furry or with scales, are invited to attend the event which ends at 4 p.m. Animal demonstrations, information booths, and pets that are up for adoption will all be featured at the annual event.

Visit the Paws Pledge for Pet Poop Pickup booth and pledge to pick up your pet's waste and receive a bone with pickup bags to hang on your dog's leash.

Art Fair: The Menomonee Falls Art Guild is sponsoring "Art in the Park" from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Artists from Wisconsin and from all over will showcase their pieces, which will also be for sale. There will also be music, and you can bet the local art studios all will be open.
