Give Cancer A Kick at Germantown's Charity Day

The Germantown Alumni Care Association is hosting its annual Community Charity Day in September.

The main event is a kickball tournament that starts at 8 a.m. sharp Sept. 14 in Germantown Fireman's Park. Admission to the event is free, and it includes much more than a kickball tournament. The entire day will raise funds for "Stand Up to Cancer."

Here's how Community Charity Day itinerary looks:

  • 8 a.m.: Kickball tournament starts
  • 9 a.m.: Silent auction starts, performances and lessons from Midwest Knife and Axe Throwers (throughout the day)
  • 11 a.m.: Performance by Kohl's Wild Theater
  • Noon: Balloon creations by Half Twisted-Half Not
  • 1 p.m.: Hypnotist/Magician JC Kriser
  • 3:30-6 p.m.: Live music by Nearly Departed

Throughout the day, food and beverage vendors will satiate your appetite. Later in the evening, Off The Hook will perform from 9 p.m. to midnight at Madam Belle's Silver Dollar Saloon, W204N14025 Fond Du Lac Ave., Richfield.
