Monday my husband and I drove home via Madison riding that "awesome" rain storm the whole way. Wisconsin needs the rain and that evening a steady stream continued. The waterfall puffed up and decided to sound like a mini Niagra Falls, it was a night. The part that most missed was the incredibly thick fog. For those of you that drove thru that starting around 2am I pity you. By 3am I could not see the Associated Bank building across the waterfall. In the Stephan King type pea soup the streetlights were a strange glow floating in the air. My first thought was that I haven't seen anything like this for almost 40 years.
For those of you on the road in the wee hours that night, I hope your travels were safe and nothing eerie crossed your path - it is almost Halloween.
