I personally am not complaining about the lack of snow and fridgid temps, but it just seems odd to have a thin layer of ice on the Mill pond and large formations of it at the bottom of the waterfall. It was 40 degrees out the other day, could this be global warming but with a side of ice?
When I was small I lived in St Petersburg Florida, not known for it's frosty Christmas in those days. Santa came on water ski's pulled by a Criss Craft, maybe in a few years we will see that on the mill pond. In the meantime, wear a hat outdoors, those geese are low flying, if you catch my drift and enjoy the holiday festivities.
