Yesterday walking over the Main Street Bridge my husband Tim was pointing to one of the light poles. Perched on top was a hawk staring at the pond and most certainly disturbing the geese and ducks. We thought it was an immature red tail hawk probably watching for an easy meal. The hawk did not have a red tail though, maybe someone more knowledgeable would know what kind it was. Last year I mentioned the large flock of circling hawks, has the Village Centre become a nesting ground for them?
Spring looks like it will be interesting this year.
