Waukesha County Fair Attendance Up From 2011

This year, 4,000 more visitors attended the Waukesha County Fair as compared to 2011. Just how many people attended the fair?

Despite a at the Waukesha County Fair, the weather cooperated for the rest of the five-day event and organizers reported that attendance was strong.

From July 18 -22 just over 125,000 fairgoers attended the 170th installment of the event. Attendance on Friday was the highest it had been since 2007, and Saturday’s attendance was the second highest total since 2006.

The number of visitors in 2012 by roughly 4,000 fairgoers.

“The weather cooperated for us this year and we are extremely pleased with the high attendance we saw. The hard work of our Board Members and volunteers really paid off this year and we had a great Fair,” Executive Director Shari Black said in a news release Thursday.
