The Germantown hockey team lost to WNS 4-1 Tuesday.

The Germantown Ice Bears, which includes players from Menomonee Falls High School, and Sussex-Hamiltion High School, had the first point against WNS Tuesday night at the Ozaukee Ice Center, but couldn't hold the lead for long.

WNS came back with two points in the second period, and two in third, bringing the score to 4-1. Germantown's single goal came from Alec Thiessen.

Despite letting four in, Germantown goalie Zac Gazzana saved 38 shots from WNS, a team comprised of players from Shorewood, Whitefish Bay, and Nicolet high schools.
