Falls Grad J.P. Tokoto in NCAA Basketball Tournament with North Carolina

J.P. Tokoto and the North Carolina Tar Heels begin March Madness on Friday. Wisconsin and Marquette also have their assignments in the Big Dance.

Menomonee Falls graduate J.P. Tokoto is a member of the University of North Carolina team that plays Friday in the first round of the 2013 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.

North Carolina is a No. 8 seed in the South region and plays Villanova, a No. 9 seed, at 6:20 p.m. Central time. The game will be broadcast on TNT.

Tokoto, a 6-foot-5 freshman, played in 33 of 34 games this season for the Tar Heels (24-10), averaging 2.7 points and 1.8 rebounds.
