Indians' Mohrfeld Named First-Team All-State

Honor for shortstop comes from Wisconsin Fastpitch Coaches Association.

Honors continue to roll in for Menomonee Falls softball player Hailey Mohrfeld, who was named first-team all-state by the Wisconsin Fastpitch Coaches Association.

The shortstop batted .534 with nine homers and 42 RBI in just 21 games as the Indians went 19-2. Mohrfeld also singled and scored the only run for the Red All-Stars as they defeated the White All-Stars 1-0 in the WFCA Division 1 All-Star Game in Stevens Point last week.

Also from Menomonee Falls, catcher Hailey Wilson was named second team all-state and pitcher Nicole Zywiec received honorable mention.
