Indians Advance to Sectionals in Softball, Kickers Clinch Conference

Arrowhead and Milwaukee Hamilton have fallen to the Indians, a softball team that's within arm's reach of a berth in the state tournament. The girls soccer team captured its first conference title in team history.

The Menomonee Falls Indians girls softball team is set up well for a deep run in the WIAA playoffs.

The Indians defeated Arrowhead 6-2 Thursday at the Little League Complex in Menomonee Falls. The Indians didn't waste time getting runs across the plate, scoring three runs in the first, according to Wissports.net. The Warhawks notched two runs in the fifth, but the Indians sealed the victory with another three runs in the sixth.

It was what the team needed to clinch a WIAA Regional Championship.
