On Tuesday, the boys varsity soccer team will kick off rivalry week at home against the Sussex Hamilton Chargers.
However, on game day soccer fans can show up in force to cheer on the Indians and help out their community at the same time. All soccer fans that bring at least two non-perishable food items to the game will get in free of charge. All donations will benefit the Menomonee Falls Area Food Pantry, which is always in need of donations from the community.
The game will begin at 7 p.m. at Menomonee Falls High School.
The Indians (8-4-1, 3-1 Greater Metro) went 2-1 at a tournament a Cedarburg Saturday. They defeated Green Bay Southwest and Racine Case, but lost to Verona. The Chargers (6-6-0, 1-2 Greater Metro) come into Tuesday’s match up in sixth place in the conference.
With a 4-1 loss to top-ranked Marquette last week, Falls dropped out of the top ten rankings in the state, but are an honorable mention in the latest Coach’s Poll.
