Falls Wrestlers Take Top Honors in Chicago

Bill Holz, Jerrot Holz, and Casey Crangle took home first-place finished in the largest wrestling tournament in the city last weekend.

Last weekend, while most high school kids were enjoying the sunshine and warm weather, three Indians wrestlers were getting mat burns and their hands raised.

The annual World Sport Chicago Wrestling Festival is the largest all-ages wrestling tournament in the. The competition is an opportunity for everyone from first-year wrestlers and seasoned veterans to have a fun and challenging experience - especially if you are going against wrestlers from Menomonee Falls.Β 

The trio of wrestlers from Falls came home with first-place finishes in their respective divisions.Β

Casey Crangle took home first place in the 133- to 141-pound Juniors division.

Jerrot and Billy Holz both took home first place finishes in the back to back weight classes of 126 to 129 pounds for Jerrot, and 129 to 132 pounds for Billy in the Cadet division.
