Falls Seniors Crush the Juniors in Annual Gridiron Battle

The annual event yielded a bountiful, non-perishable harvest for the Menomonee Falls Area Food Pantry.

The annual Powder Puff Game at Menomonee Falls High School is supposedly a flag football matchup. It usually gets physical.Β

However, the juniors were the only ones getting pushed around Wednesday under the lights at Schumann Stadium. The senior girls steamrolled the juniors 34-0 in a lopsided affair that was over before the guys pulled off their Hula skirts at halftime.Β

The event definitely about friendly rivalry during the weeklong Homecoming festivities. However, the event also benefitted the Menomonee Falls Area Food Pantry in a big way. More than 1,250 non-perishable food items were collected at the entrance, and all the proceeds from the $3 admission price were also donated to the local pantry.Β
