Falls' Justin Johnson Earns Player of the Week Honors

Johnson's honor comes one week after the Indians earned "Team of the Week" recognition.

Menomonee Falls Indians varsity football running back Justin Johnson earned "Student Athlete of the Week" honors from SportsRadio 1250 AM in Milwaukee.

Johnson is a senior and Menomonee Falls High School, and has rushed for 29 yards on the year. However, he's proven to be the best receiver for the Indians and has caught 15 passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns on the season, according to Wissports.net.

The Indians clinched a playoff spot last week by defeating the Marquette University High School Hilltoppers 21-7. The Indians earned "Team of the Week" honors last week, as well.

Congrats JJ! And Carl, this year it seems to me that JJ is playing a true receiver position this year as he almost never lines up in the back field. I dont even think you can classify him as a RB when you have guys like Hernickl, Almonte, Vasser, and Precia getting almost all of the carries.

Right, he's listed on the roster as a running back, but I agree. He's the Indians top wide out this year. Just watch his catch against Sussex - Jordy Nelson-like.
