The program will cover purchasing and preparing healthy meals and snacks for families, as well as starting a new workout routine and general injury prevention tips for exercise programs. During the first hour, children will be supervised as they enjoy the Tri-County YMCA facility while their parents participate in the sessions. The last half hour will be devoted to family-fun activities.
The cost for the event is $5, and registration must be completed by Jan. 18. Space is limited. Registrations are accepted via cash and check at the YMCA and via cash, check and credit card at the Germantown Parks & Recreation Department.
