As a web-based news source, we utilize Facebook and Twitter quite a bit. However, I felt it was time to make myself available in person on a regular basis. So, from 5 to 7 p.m. every Wednesday I will be holding "office hours" in the large study room on the the second floor of the . If the room is full we will definitely find a place to chat.
I'm hoping Patch readers, and those new to Patch, will stop by and use that time to help me do a better job for the community. Let me know what I'm doing right, and more importantly let me know what I'm doing wrong. Tell me about a story that is going unnoticed around Menomonee Falls. Do you have a local concern that deserves some investigation? Or just share some insight about the community, or stop by and chat.
Remember, Patch is here for you. Help to be a part of shaping the content that is important to you.
Additionally, if you are a business owner or a person with a strong story to tell, I'll guide you through the tools available on Patch to help expand your presance on the web for free. I'll show you how to beef up your directory listing with us, create a Facebook business page, or set you up as a blogger so you can tell your own story about your life or organization you represent.
Whether it's one person or 20, the goal is to work collaboratively with you as readers to make sure I can deliver the best content and information on Menomonee Falls Patch.
If you have any questions, please give me a call at (262) 388-6933, or shoot me an email. Otherwise, tell a friend and I hope to see you out at the library one of these upcoming Wednesdays.
