Three Candidates File Nomination Papers For School Board

Candidates must have their nomination papers in by 5 p.m. Jan. 3 to get on the ballot.

Three candidates have returned nomination papers for the Menonomee Falls School Board race this spring, according to the district.  

Richard Houdek and Michele Divelbiss will join incumbent David Noshay in running for two School Board seats. 

School Board President Kathy Shurilla she will not seek re-election this spring.

Candidates must have their nomination papers in by 5 p.m. Jan. 3 to get on the ballot for the April 3 election.

On the School Board, the president serves a three-year term and receives a compensation of $5,500 annually. Other board members receive $5,000.

Those interested in running for either position on the School Board can pick up filing papers from the district office, which is also located in Village Hall.

If more than two candidates file for any open position, a primary election will be held Feb. 21.
