Students Honored for Doing the Right Thing

The Optimist Club of Menomonee Falls recently announced the winners of the John Weaver "Do the Right Thing Award."

The Optimist Club of Menomonee Falls recently announced the winners of the John Weaver "Do the Right Thing Award." 

The winners include:

  • Tiffany Franks (North Junior High)
  • Ashlin LaFond (Aquinas Academy)
  • Jackson Schambow (Ben Franklin)
  • Mary Maas (Aquinas Academy)
  • Luke Nitschke (Grace Lutheran)

Students are nominated for this award by performing acts of courage or bravery, kindness, volunteerism, charity, leadership, respect or looking beyond disabilities occurring in the classroom, in the school, or outside of the school environment.  The student is a role model for students and adults.
