Schools Collecting Winter Gear For The Needy

All schools in the Menomonee Falls School District are collecting gently used coats, scarves, gloves and hats until Nov. 30.

Whether we'd like to admit it or not, winter is upon us. Although you may be prepared to dust off that winter coat that's been hanging in the closet, others may not be so fortunate.

A collection of gently used, clean, winter coats, scarves, gloves and hats is underway in the . The drive is sponsored by BASICS Ministry of Milwaukee and Pass it On Network.

This is a great way to pass on those coats and winter gear that your family has outgrown and donate them to a worthy cause. The donated items will be given to underprivileged kids in Milwaukee and Menomonee Falls.
