School District Sets Record at the Popcorn Wagon

The Menomonee Falls School District is the fundraising champion at the Optimist Club's popcorn wagon. 

The school district set the one-week record with $1,730 in sales, breaking the former mark by nearly $500. Teachers and staff from Valley View, Riverside, the high school, Shady Lane and North Middle School each sold more than $200.

Here are the sales totals from each school: 

  • District Office, $95
  • North Middle School, $204
  • Shady Lane, $213
  • Menomonee Falls High School, $245                      
  • Riverside, $250
  • Valley View, $287
  • Ben Franklin, $430

Optimist Club members, families and friends work the popcorn wagon from 6:30-9 p.m. every evening, including weekends, from Memorial Day through Labor Day. It is located on
