School District Employees Disciplined for Drinking During Sports Event

There is very little information available right now, but two employees were placed on administrative leave while the district investigates the incident, which occurred at a cross country meet Oct. 18.

Two Menomonee Falls School District employees were placed on administrative leave for consuming alcohol during a cross country meet.

Superintendent Patricia Greco announced Monday the two employees would be placed on leave pending further fact finding. A third person, who was a volunteer, was allegedly caught drinking during the event. The incident occurred on Oct. 18 during a cross country meet hosted at Rotary Park in Menomonee Falls. Greco said the district will not share any more information about the incident until the investigation and determination is final.
