Report: Palazzari Demands Apology from Belling

Belling asked to apologize after calling School Board member Gina Palazzari a "whore for the teachers union."

Menomonee Falls School Board member Gina Palazarri has hired an attorney and is demanding an apology from conservative radio host Mark Belling, Journal Sentinel columnist Daniel Bice is reporting.

Palazzari took offense a statement Belling made on his show Monday calling her a “whore for the teachers union.” Walt Kelly, an attorney for Palazzari, wrote a letter to Belling and WISN-AM (1130) manager Jeff Tyler demanding an on-air apology for his comments, Bice said in his blog.

Belling refused to retract his statement. He said he did not use the term “whore” in a literal sense – as suggested by Kelly. Rather, Belling used the term to desribe his belief that Palazzari was selling out to the union.
