Photo Gallery: Youth Art Month Reception at the Library

Visit the Menomonee Falls Public Library to see student artwork throughout the month of March.

Sitting on the bookcases, hung on the walls, and standing on the floor, there is a ton of student artwork to see at Menomonee Falls Public Library this month.

All of the local public schools are participating in the exhibit.  Painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, and metal arts are all represented.

There was an opening reception on March 1 that included music, face painting, an arts & crafts room for the kids, and an awards ceremony.  At 7 p.m. the Friends of the Library awarded plaques to High School students Jessie Hartman, Melissa Daczyk, and North Middle School student Zach Pogorzelski for their outstanding art pieces.

The exhibit will be open for the month of March.  Private school student artwork will be showcased at the library in the month of April.
